TVRA 236 - Video Production Portfolio Advanced video projects selected and completed by students in consultation with the instructor, departmental faculty, or working professionals. Students develop a professional portfolio designed to convey their technical and aesthetic skills. To further enhance job readiness, students work to complete one or more video production industry certifications. PREREQUISITE(S): A grade of C or better in TVRA 120 and TVRA 140 or consent of department. One hour lecture, three hours laboratory each week.

Course Outcomes: Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Compile and publish a successful online portfolio and social media presence to support the search for employment.
- Create links to portfolio and social media entities to provide prospective employers with an accurate and positive impression of the student’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Revise previously created video projects based on current aesthetic standards and employ fine cut editing skills to make each project portfolio worthy.
- Complete the requisite test(s) for one or more industry certifications.
