BLDG 276 - International Mechanical Code

A review of mechanical codes and standards applied to HVACR systems installations. The International Mechanical Code (IMC) will be emphasized and local area amendments will be addressed. This course may be used as a review for the journeyman level licensing examination. PREREQUISITE(S): BLDG 270. Two hours each week.

Course Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

Describe minimal safety standards that apply to HVACR Installations.
Apply code requirements of the International Mechanical Code to HVACR installations.
Identify International Mechanical Code violations as applied to HVACR installations.
